How Designers Fail:
Teaching designers to identify the difference between what they know and what they don’t.
Jason Tselentis is known for his work in the area of interactive design and print communications. He completed projects for top corporations such as Sony, 20th Century Fox, and Continental Tires, in addition to celebrated organizations including the Experience Music Project & Science Fiction Museum, Intel Labs, and the National Park Service. His work has been featured in design publications such as How and regional award shows hosted by the AIGA.
As Assistant Professor at Winthrop University, he teaches typography and graphic design and devotes research hours to furthering student education. Since 2003, he has contributed to the awardwinning design forum Speak Up as an author, and has written for Arcade, Eye, and How magazines.
Failure, for lack of a better word, is good—designers fail every minute, everyday, everywhere.
